One of the goals of this year's five15 Retreat is to build community within five15. To help with that, we are adding new activities and more activity times to this year's retreat schedule. Shared fun experiences do a lot to create bonds that will last into the new ministry year.
But this won't happen without your help.
After church on Sunday, July 1, we will have a meeting for anyone interested in 1) making this year's retreat activities fun and 2) making this year's retreat activities happen. If you have creative ideas, the ability to make things happen, and a desire to serve at this year's retreat, then this team is for you. It doesn't matter if you are going into 9th grade or if you have grandchildren, if you have a desire to make this year's retreat memorably fun for all, then this team is for you.
I've heard from many of you that you have a desire to serve in five15. Opening up this activity team is part of an effort this year to widen the variety of options available for serving. With many individuals having more free time in the summer, this is a great opportunity to use that time for others.
If you are interested in being a part of this retreat activity team, please contact Katherine Sawyer by close of business on Wednesday, June 27. If you have any questions about the activity team, please contact Luke.
With your help, this will be a memorable and fun retreat that connects people. Without your help, the alternatives are pretty scary.
