If you haven't already handed in your 2012 retreat feedback form, you can turn in your completed form tomorrow at church by handing it to Luke or dropping it off at the Welcome Center. Your feedback is valuable and I want it so that next year's retreat can be even better than this year. If you'd rather email in your feedback, you can email it to Luke.
If you're looking for a ride to the retreat, I (Luke) have room in my car. Just send me an email or give me a call if you're interested.
Recently, I introduced you to Jason Russell, one of our two guest speakers at this year's retreat. For many of you, our second guest speaker needs no introduction. Kenny Lynch spoke at a recent five15 retreat.
For any that are interested, there will be a small prayer meeting this Monday at the church from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm. We will be praying for the retreat. Any and all are welcome.
At this year's retreat, five different individuals will be speaking. Two of those five are "guest" speakers. I want to introduce you to one of those two men who are taking the time to drive to Camp Hebron and speak to us from God's Word.
One of the goals of this year's five15 Retreat is to build community within five15. To help with that, we are adding new activities and more activity times to this year's retreat schedule. Shared fun experiences do a lot to create bonds that will last into the new ministry year.
I've received a few questions about parents and the five15 retreat. So, here is a short FAQ for everyone... Q: Is the five15 retreat for parents of rising 9th - 12th graders, as well?
We are now 73 days away from the 2012 five15 Retreat. The five15 Retreat is for rising 9th – 12th graders. We will be returning to Camp Hebron in Halifax, PA this year.
It may seem a long way off, but it'll be here before you know it: our 2012 five15 retreat. Don't forget to mark your calendars for August 19 - 22. We will be at Camp Hebron again this year.
